Friday 11 September · Free and live on Zoom
What Only a
Group Can Heal
The opening session of the three-day live virtual retreat, open to every practitioner, free. A guided practice to arrive, then real footage of Circle Work with Christian pausing it to show you what he is tracking and why, so you can feel how a group reaches what one-to-one cannot.
Hosted live by Christian Pankhurst, founder of Heart iQ
Save my free seatAt the heart of Circle Work
There is a need so deep that many of us have forgotten its name: tribe.
We can go deeper together than we can on our own. In a circle, what one person has the courage to touch can open something in everyone. A group can offer corrective experiences that reach places one-to-one work cannot always touch.
Circle Work is Heart iQ's embodied way of facilitating that shared encounter. It teaches you to read the field: the shared energy moving between people, including what is being felt, avoided or quietly asked for before anybody has found the words.

Why a group changes what is possible
Insight explains the wound. Relationship gives it somewhere new to move.
Much of what hurt us happened in the presence of other people. A room where nobody noticed what was happening. A family where the truth was not welcome, or a group we were pushed out of and never quite let back into.
For many people, that kind of wound does not fully resolve in a conversation between two people, however skilled that conversation is. It needs to be witnessed by a room that stays and does not look away.
Describing that is one thing. Session One exists so you can feel it, live, from your own home, with nothing asked of you but presence.
How the session flows
Two and a half hours inside the work itself.
Christian hosts the room throughout. The footage comes from a real Circle Work Facilitator Training, and he stops it constantly to teach from the choices you can watch him making, including the ones he decided against.
A guided practice you can follow from home, on your own or with a partner. Camera optional, nothing to perform.
Christian brings in footage from an actual Circle Work Facilitator Training and pauses it as it plays: what he is tracking in the person and the room, and why he makes the call he makes.
Dialogue with the room, and where the work goes from here. We finish at 6:30 PM sharp.
“We are all receiving the medicine if we're present.”
Who this session is for
For experienced practitioners.
For serious newcomers.
This is for you if
- You coach, heal, teach, facilitate or lead groups in any setting.
- You want to see embodied group facilitation rather than read about it.
- You are curious whether this work belongs in your practice.
- You are willing to be moved by what you watch, not only study it.
This is not the right fit if
- You want a certificate for attending a free session.
- You are looking for scripts that remove the need for attunement.
- You need personal crisis support rather than professional teaching.

Where Friday leads, if you want it to
Session One opens a three-day retreat.
The full retreat runs 11 to 13 September: present-moment facilitation on day one, expressing the unspoken on day two, receiving a corrective experience on day three, all taught through real footage with guided practice each day. Session One is its opening and stands on its own. If the room is for you, your registration page carries an enrolment offer for the whole arc; if not, you have lost nothing but a Friday afternoon, and I do not believe you will feel it was lost.

Before you register
Questions about the session.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Session One is the open first session of a three-day virtual retreat. You register, we email you a personal Zoom link, and that is the whole arrangement.
How will I participate?
Christian guides practices you can follow on your own or with a learning partner at home. You can ask questions throughout. There are no breakout rooms or participant hot seats, your camera is always optional, and every practice remains an invitation.
Is there a replay of the free session?
No. Session One is live only. Replays belong to the full retreat and live in participants’ hubs for seven days after the final day.
Do I need previous Heart iQ experience?
No. The session is designed for experienced practitioners and serious newcomers who coach, heal, teach, facilitate or lead groups. It is not personal crisis support.
What about the rest of the retreat?
The retreat runs three days, 11 to 13 September. Your registration page carries a 48-hour enrolment offer for the full three days, and joining Session One commits you to nothing.
How is the training footage handled?
The room is private and the footage shown is cleared for this use. Recordings of the live room itself are handled separately and never shared with the free session.
