Relationship Mastery is a facilitator immersion in the Heart iQ Method applied to intimacy. You learn to track the live dynamic between two people, to guide ownership that actually lands, to restore polarity through the body rather than the argument, and to let a held group amplify all of it. Now the work turns professional: the processes you just lived are broken down, demonstrated live with the dynamics emerging in the room, and studied up close. Physicalization & Polarity

When the body carries the work

The art of helping a couple connect more intimately by observing how they move and interact physically, then guiding their sexual, emotional and physical energy with more joy and polarity. It is a felt sense, and it cannot be learned from a home study program. It has to be practised live.

The skill that most transforms couples work, and the reason this training is in person.

Accept What Is

We prioritise the acceptance of what is, in clients and in ourselves. We agree not to make who we are and where we are in the moment wrong or shameful. This creates safety, the most important aspect of facilitation.

Maximum Impact, Minimum Intervention

Less is more. We act from the intention to make the maximum impact with the minimum amount of intervention, trusting the intelligent life force that animates each of us.

Listen & Follow the Heart

Life offers breadcrumbs of wisdom as we open to what is real and possible in the moment. We follow what moves with ease and inspiration rather than driving toward a goal at all costs.

We Are Intrinsically Good

Goodness lies at the core of everyone. All of us carry wounding, some of which permanently changes us, and our intrinsic goodness remains intact and accessible in spite of it.

All Parts Are Welcome

Dark, light, painful, joyful, awkward, refined, tender, confronting, closed and generous. We include all parts of the self, with the intention of integrating them into one whole.

All Healing Has Its Own Time

We allow clients to be where they are rather than advising them toward a better place. We do not push people where they do not want to go.

Collective Healing

Healing is more powerful in a group. Pain is collective and requires others to digest it fully. Through collective healing, life spontaneously reorganises and transforms, and that is why this work is taught, practised, and held in a circle.

A Day in the Mastery Week

The Rhythm of the Training

The days follow a titrated arc. They open into depth and then settle into integration, rather than escalating without rest.

Morning

Circles & Open Space

Small-group sharing circles and the open-space kernel, practised each day at increasing depth.

Midday

The Large Field

The whole group with Christian. Transmission, and relational work shown live in real time.

Afternoon

Practice & Demonstration

Couples coaching demonstrations and live teaching, with invited hot seats to take a process deeper.

Evening

Integration & Rest

Space to let the day land. The arc settles in the evenings rather than driving deeper into the night.

Roughly half of the immersion is professional training and half is your own deep work. You receive each process as live transmission and study, and the deeper practice comes in the practicum.

You cannot facilitate a depth of intimacy you have never let yourself feel.

Meet Christian

Before I could train others to facilitate intimacy, I had to learn to stay open inside it myself.

I'm Christian Pankhurst, founder of Heart iQ and author of Insights to Intimacy: Why Relationships Fail & How to Make Them Work, and I will be leading this immersion.

I trained first in the sciences, graduating as a chiropractor in 2002, and then as a facilitator in Neale Donald Walsch's Leadership Education Program, where I was mentored as his protégé. In 2009 I was awarded the title of Britain's Next Top Coach, winning a national competition with votes from 92 countries.

In 2011 I opened the Heart iQ Academy, a professional training organisation that has certified over 350 coaches and facilitators in more than 50 countries. Through direct observation of thousands of group interactions at my deep dive relationship retreats, I began to see the hidden patterns of connection and conflict that show up in every kind of relationship, and translated them into a practical, embodied language that anyone can learn.

In 2016 we bought New Eden, our own retreat centre on its own land in the Frisian countryside, where I live with my partner, Sumir, and where the February edition of this immersion is held.

Relationship Mastery is where I hand you the part of this work that sits closest to my own life: how two people find their way back to each other, and how a facilitator holds that journey.

Where does this take place?›

The February edition is fully residential at New Eden, a private retreat centre in the Frisian countryside in the north of the Netherlands, built specifically for immersive group work. The April edition is in Colorado: the opening weekend at Casa Sagrada in Loveland, then the mastery week at The Hideaway in Colorado Springs.

Do I need to be a trained facilitator?›

No particular certification is required. This is a facilitator training for coaches, therapists, counsellors, and committed practitioners who work with relationships and want to work deeper than talk. You need to feel the call and be willing to do your own deep work as well as learn the craft. Roughly half the immersion is professional training and half is your own transformation.

What is included in the price?›

Everything for the ten days: the full training with Christian and the team, the Love, Relationships & You opening weekend, your accommodation, every meal, and taxes. In the Netherlands a shared room is €3,500 and a private room is €3,900. In Colorado a shared room is $3,995 and a private room is $4,495.

What are the dates?›

The Netherlands edition runs February 4 to 14, 2027, at New Eden, ending on Valentine's Day. The US edition runs April 1 to 11, 2027, in Colorado. Both are ten nights, residential.

How does the opening weekend work?›

Every edition opens inside the Love, Relationships & You weekend, where you participate fully alongside the public participants and receive the imprint of the practices in your own body. When the weekend closes, the training room forms and the mastery week begins. The weekend is part of your immersion ticket, never a separate booking.

How do I secure my place?›

Relationship Mastery is held by application. Apply through the booking page for your edition, and once your place is confirmed a 25% deposit secures your seat. The remaining balance is due 30 days before we begin.

Is this couples therapy? Is it safe?›

No, this is a professional facilitator training in which you also do your own deep work. It is held by a trained team in a carefully titrated container, with regulation and care built into every day. It is not a substitute for personal or couples therapy. If you are in acute crisis right now, this is not the right time, and we will gladly point you toward more suitable support.

Can I come with my partner?›

This is a professional training, so each person applies and is considered in their own right. Partners who are both practitioners are welcome to apply individually. If you mainly want to work on your own relationship, the standalone Love, Relationships & You retreat is the better doorway, and couples are warmly welcome there.

What does a day look like?›

Mornings open with small sharing circles and open space. Midday is the large group field with Christian, transmission and live demonstration. Afternoons are couples coaching demonstrations and supervised study, with invited hot seats. Evenings are for integration and rest. The arc is titrated, opening into depth and then settling, rather than escalating into the night.

What about the badge, the practicum, and certification?›

The ten days are complete in themselves. If you want to go further, you can add an optional twelve-week online practicum afterward, where you are seen facilitating with feedback. Completing both the immersion and the practicum earns your Relationship Mastery badge, one of the Academy's specialisations. Collect the specialisation badges, in any order, and you become a certified Heart iQ facilitator.

How do I get there?›

Once your place is confirmed we send full travel directions for your edition, including the nearest airports and stations and the best way to reach us, whether that is New Eden in the Frisian countryside or the Colorado venues.

What is your cancellation policy?›

Relationship Mastery runs for ten days, so it falls under our cancellation terms for events of seven days or longer. A 25% deposit secures your place, and the balance is due 30 days before we begin. The deposit commits you to the full fee. If you need to cancel, write to [email protected], and your refund depends on timing: more than 90 days before the start, a full refund less a 10% administrative fee; between 90 and 60 days, 50% of what you have paid; within 60 days of the start, the fee is non-refundable, though at our discretion we may offer a transferable credit valid for twelve months. The Final Invitation

This is a professional training, and it asks something of you: ten days in a small and committed room, learning to hold the work that brings two people back to each other.

If you have sat with a couple whose understanding was complete and whose pattern still ran, you already know what this immersion is for.

You do not need to arrive certain. You need to be willing to step into the room and meet your own relational material, and to learn the craft of holding others by being held yourself.

The February and April circles are forming now, and both rooms are kept small on purpose. If something in you has already said yes, this is your invitation to follow it.
