Why this retreat exists
Insight can take you far. Relationship takes you further.
You may already understand your patterns. You may have done years of personal work. Yet some places only reveal themselves when another person is close enough to touch them, and when a group is steady enough to stay.
Accelerated Awakening is built for exactly that. The group becomes more than an audience. It becomes a living field of attention and contact, where you can meet what is difficult to reach alone and try a different response while it is actually happening.

Christian on emergence
What becomes possible in an emergent field
In this five-minute film, Christian describes the quality that makes circle different. When people become sufficiently attuned, the room begins to work as one living field rather than a collection of separate individuals.
That field can hold complexity without collapsing into right and wrong. What has been defended or judged can become welcome again, allowing life force to return to the body and relationship. This is the principle underneath Accelerated Awakening.
Inside the retreat
A day shaped by what the room is ready for
There is a clear rhythm, but not a rigid curriculum. Christian and the team facilitate what is alive in the group, then create enough space for the work to land.
Arrive in the body
Morning practice brings attention out of analysis and into sensation, breath, presence and contact.
Work in the circle
Whole-group Circle Work, direct facilitation and relational practice reveal what is asking to be met.
Go deeper
Men’s and women’s spaces, paired work, movement and consent-based touch allow different layers to open.
Let it integrate
Meals, breaks, time outdoors and evening closure help the nervous system absorb what has shifted.
Exact timings are shared before arrival. The retreat is fully immersive and participants are expected to attend the complete programme.
Readiness matters
This is deep work,
not a first step
Accelerated Awakening is for people who have already developed some capacity to witness themselves, take responsibility and remain curious under pressure.
You may be ready if
- You have meaningful experience of personal or relational work
- You want honest reflection, not comfort or performance
- You can name your boundaries and respect another person’s no
- You are willing to be challenged without handing away your agency
This is not the right setting if
- You currently need therapy, crisis support or trauma treatment
- You are unable to participate sober for the full retreat
- You need a facilitator to manage your emotional state for you
- You cannot commit to the complete residential experience
A note from Christian
This is where I stop holding back
Accelerated Awakening is the room where I work at the edge of my own capacity as a facilitator. I am more direct here, and I follow what is actually happening in front of me rather than tempering the work so that it can speak to everyone.
You will be met with clear direction and close listening at the same time. There may be confrontation, always held inside care. There will be moments when your patterns and defences become visible to the room. The invitation is to stay curious, remain in contact with yourself and let honesty take you somewhere familiar explanations have not.
The retreat includes distinct men’s and women’s spaces where that serves the work. This is a led, application-only environment for people who want precise and direct leadership, and who can remain responsible for their own choices within it.

Hi, I’m Christian.
I created Heart iQ twenty-five years ago, out of my own search for what lets a person stay open and present in connection, especially when it gets hard. I have led hundreds of retreats and trainings since 2002, with people travelling from more than thirty countries to be in the room.
My role here is not to give you answers. It is to hold the room with enough care and precision that you can meet what is real and start living from it.

Co-facilitator
Hi, I’m Sumir.
I have been immersed in Heart iQ since 2014. I helped build New Eden, co-created the Heart iQ Academy 90-Day Challenge with Christian and have spent years co-facilitating the men’s and women’s work.
My own thread lives deeply in the feminine. I created Feminine Rising as a place for women to access this work through embodied experience. At Accelerated Awakening I bring a fierce, tender quality of holding, so when the work deepens you are not left alone inside it.
Each retreat is also supported by an experienced team who help hold the group and the rhythm of the days, and who are there for the integration around each session.
Residential by design
Leave ordinary life outside for a week
Both locations give the group one shared home for the week. Sessions, meals, rest and the conversations between them all belong to the experience.

How payment works
Pay in full, or secure an accepted place with a 25% deposit. If you choose the deposit, the remaining balance is automatically charged to the same card 30 days before the retreat. We will email you approximately five days before that happens.
Why application-only
The application helps us assess readiness and protect the depth of the group. Applying does not commit you to book.
Ambassador Rate
Recognition for people who have carried the work for years
The Ambassador Rate is reserved for recognised Heart iQ Ambassadors who have been in the work for more than five years and completed at least three deep-dive retreats with us. It honours what experienced members bring to the room, in presence and in practice, over many years. Ambassador status is confirmed when your application is reviewed.

We stand behind the work
Take part in the full seven days. If, by the end, you genuinely feel the retreat did not give you what you came for, speak to a member of the team before you leave the venue. We will refund your tuition in full.
Accommodation, food and travel are excluded, because those costs have already been incurred. The request needs to be made in person, before you depart.
Before you apply
Questions worth answering clearly
Do I need previous Heart iQ experience?+
There is no formal prerequisite, but this is not an introductory retreat. It assumes some experience of inner work, self-inquiry or relational practice, and the capacity to stay present when the work becomes challenging. Every application is reviewed for readiness.
Can I attend with my partner?+
Yes, provided you are both accepted independently. This is not a couples retreat. Each of you joins as an individual and takes responsibility for your own experience.
Is this therapy or trauma treatment?+
No. Accelerated Awakening is an educational and experiential retreat, not psychotherapy, psychiatric care or trauma treatment. Emotional material may arise, so applicants need enough personal stability to participate without a clinical framework.
How does consent work?+
Every exercise is voluntary. Touch, relational exercises and somatic practices require explicit consent. You may say no, stop or ask for space at any time, and every participant is expected to respect those boundaries.
What is included?+
The retreat fee includes programme tuition, accommodation, meals and applicable taxes. Travel to and from the venue is not included. Room availability varies by edition.
What happens if I cancel?+
For this seven-day retreat, cancellations more than 90 days before the start receive a refund less an administration fee equal to 10% of the full retreat fee. From 90 to 60 days, 50% of the programme fee paid is refunded. Inside 60 days, the booking is non-refundable. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
