Two ways to do this at home

How will you take part at home?

Participants supporting one another during a guided practice in the filmed 2023 LRY training

The original training, uncut

This is the live training as it unfolded.

You receive the teaching, the questions, the guided practices and the moments when the material had to meet a real human being.

It was filmed as a livestream with a remote audience taking part, so the recordings were made for people watching from home rather than being a camera left at the back. Christian speaks to those watching throughout, and their questions are answered alongside the ones asked in the circle.

Nothing has been trimmed into a polished summary, which means you also see the pauses, the resistance and the parts that did not go smoothly. That is the point. It was filmed across four days at New Eden in 2023 and the work has not dated, because what happens between people has not changed.

The four-day curriculum

Follow the work in the order the circle received it.

Every title below comes from the complete session transcripts and the actual sequence of the 2023 training.

01

Day one

Come back to yourself before you reach for technique

Build the ground for everything that follows: open-heart availability, somatic awareness, conscious presence and a relationship that includes self, partner and tribe.

  • Intrinsic goodness, the overlay of unworthiness, and where the protection around it was formed
  • Somatic Tracking: sensation, impulse, and what changes when you follow what is true
  • The four levels of relating: yourself, the two of you, brothers and sisters, and tribe
  • Asking for what you need, and the harder skill of receiving it
02

Day two

Know whether the relationship needs repair, nourishment or expansion

Learn to recognise the direction a relationship needs before the conversation begins, then practise moving charge with consent and enough structure to stay connected.

  • The Meta Check-In, and knowing whether to expand, nourish or repair before you speak
  • Following the breadcrumbs out of freeze by naming each impulse as it arrives
  • The complete Uncontained Truth ritual, from invitation and consent through to closure
  • Meeting anger and force without letting them become attack
  • The praise practice, and what happens when two people grow at different speeds
03

Day three

Turn rupture into a real reconnection

Move from raw charge into clear words. Separate fact from story, own the protection you bring, hear impact and stay curious enough for a different meeting to become possible.

  • Separating fact from story, and primary feelings from interpretation
  • The Reconnection Ritual for sharing a difficult truth without losing the relationship
  • S.T.U.A.R.T, the protective perimeter, and the strategies that run off it
  • Sharing a withhold, hearing impact, and the trigger track underneath it
  • Ownership and counter-ownership, which is how shame stops sitting on one person
  • The Polarity Lab: why harmony and charge work against each other, and how to bring charge back
04

Day four

Let the group show you what relationship can hold

Watch the teaching become lived process. The final day brings the tools into the circle, where heartbreak, remorse, belonging and corrective experience are met in real time.

  • Live processes with real heartbreak, rage and grief, held in front of everybody
  • Why brotherhood and sisterhood take the weight a partner was never meant to carry
  • Corrective experience in the circle, and staying when the old move is to leave
“Whenever you share truth, the body between you will lighten.”
Christian Pankhurst, Day Two

What you come away holding

Thirteen named practices, taught and then demonstrated.

Nothing here is left as an idea. Each of these is defined, shown in the circle with real people, and then practised.

What you will actually watch

The teaching is the frame. These are the moments inside it.

Across the four days the work stops being an idea and starts happening to somebody. These are four of the moments you sit in on.

01

A participant tells Christian, in front of the whole circle, that he cannot accept the claim that both people always contribute to a rupture. Christian concedes the point on the spot and adjusts the teaching, which tells you a great deal about how these four days are held.

02

A man whose partner of three and a half years ended it without explanation is offered the choice of being soothed, doing repair, or stretching into something new. Watch what Christian asks him to add to his rage so that it becomes grief rather than blame.

03

A woman in a live demonstration discovers she is in freeze while standing in front of somebody she completely trusts. She comes out of it by naming each small impulse aloud until her body starts moving on its own.

04

A woman traces a present-day trigger back to her father arriving home from work with nothing left to receive her with. The skill being taught is how to stay connected to your own goodness while a memory like that is surfacing.

Coming to this on your own

Watching alone gives you something the participants did not have.

The original four days were built as a group because relationship patterns only become visible in contact. Watching the replay lets you learn from that field with none of the pressure of being seen, which means you can stay with what surfaces for as long as you need.

Notice what happens in your own body as people speak, protect, risk, receive and repair. The moment you want to judge, rescue, withdraw or move closer is already your curriculum.

You can pause after any session, bring what surfaced to Z, and return when you have space for the next layer.

Make it your own retreat

The replay can move at the speed your system can use.

01

Choose your pace

Treat each day as a chapter. Watch one session, stop when your body has had enough, and return when you are ready.

02

Practise from your own experience

Track sensation, impulse, story and need as the circle works. You do not need somebody beside you to notice how relationship lives in your body.

03

Use the circle as your mirror

Notice who you identify with and who activates you, and let that tell you where your own work is.

04

Bring questions to Z

Your 30 days with Z give you somewhere private to reflect and locate the practice that fits what the replay has opened.

Guided embodiment with Sylvie

Press play and let your body join the training.

This replay includes guided embodiment experiences led by Sylvie Fröhlicher. She gives you clear, spoken invitations you can follow from home, whether you are watching alone or sitting beside someone you love.

You will be guided to notice sensation before interpretation, follow an impulse slowly, and discover what opens or closes you. Sylvie also leads the Meta Check-In, helping you recognise whether the relationship needs repair, nourishment or space to expand before you begin the conversation.

You do not need to perform the practice or get it right. You can pause, keep your eyes open, stay seated, or watch the first time and return when your body is ready to take part.

  • Somatic Tracking and body-led awareness
  • The Meta Check-In for clearer relational contact
  • Consent-based pauses and practices you can repeat

Your guides through the replay

Christian teaches the maps and works with participants directly, while Sylvie leads the embodied practices you can follow from home.

Christian Pankhurst

Meet your teacher

Christian Pankhurst

He did not come to this work because he was good at relationships.

Christian Pankhurst is the founder of Heart iQ and the lead teacher throughout this four-day replay.

He came to this work through his own nervous system first. A childhood shaped by intensity and a lack of safety left him with anxiety and a deep sense of disconnection. What began as a search for relief became a lifelong study of what lets a person stay open and present in connection, especially when it gets hard.

Christian trained first in the sciences, with a degree in Human Sciences and Chiropractic, and then as a facilitator in Neale Donald Walsch's Leadership Education Program, where he was mentored as his protégé. Around twenty-five years ago he began the work that became Heart iQ, a structured and embodied approach to relating that is now practised and taught around the world.

He has led hundreds of retreats and trainings since 2002, with people travelling from more than thirty countries to sit in circle with Heart iQ. In 2016 he bought New Eden, a custom retreat centre on its own land in the Frisian countryside. It moved this work out of hotel venues and into a home built for it.

Christian does not see his role as fixing or healing anyone. His work is to create the conditions where another person's own capacity and goodness can finally emerge.

“Christian Pankhurst knows how to articulate these messages as well as, if not better than I can. He is a profound source of wisdom and depth.”
Neale Donald WalschNew York Times best-selling author of Conversations with God

When watching is no longer enough

The replay shows you the work. The live training does it with you.

Everything in these four days was filmed in a circle of people who were being met in real time. You can learn the maps from the footage, and many people do. What the footage cannot give you is the experience of a circle turning towards you and finding out that you can be received exactly as you are.

Love, Relationships & You runs at New Eden in the Netherlands from 1 to 4 October 2026, and at Casa Sagrada in Colorado from 5 to 8 November 2026. Christian teaches all three days himself.
