A New Era for New Eden: The Liberated Living Residency

Dear Heart iQ Community,

I want to share something deeply personal with you, an update on New Eden and the evolving vision that is coming to life in 2025. For those of you who have followed our journey, you know that New Eden was never just meant to be a retreat center. It was always a dream, a vision of an intentional community powered by Heart iQ, a place where we could live, work, and co-create together in a way that integrates personal transformation into everyday life.

When Sumir Brown and I acquired New Eden in 2015, it was with the bold intention of creating a home for this work. A place where we could not only host retreats but live the teachings of Heart iQ in an environment that supports a new paradigm of being. A space where technology meets nature, where the individual "I" meets the collective "We," and where village life fosters deep connection and heart-centered living.

But life happened. We faced financial strain, near bankruptcy, health struggles, and the painful unraveling of relationships. The vision of a thriving community had to be put to rest, for a time. Through the support of an angel investor, we managed to recover, but Heart iQ and New Eden went into survival mode.

We experimented over the years, running projects like The Awakened Living Project, where for 90 days, people lived, worked, and integrated into New Eden. The experience was profound, yet we never quite found the model that worked for both New Eden’s needs and the needs of an intentional community. And then, just as momentum was building, COVID hit.

But out of the disruption came an opportunity. Those who remained at New Eden experienced true community living in a way we never had before. It taught us the power of HeartIQ as an operating system for group coherence, intentional living, and deep connection.

Reclaiming the Original Vision

Fast forward to today, and I’m ready to bring New Eden back to its original vision.

In June 2024, I finalized the legal transition of ownership, fully buying out Sumir’s share, meaning I now fully steward this space. With the support of an incredible team, we are laying the foundations for something new, a globally recognized transformational hub where leaders, facilitators, and visionaries can receive an unparalleled frequency upgrade.

This is why I’m thrilled to introduce the Liberated Living Residency, our next evolution of community living and transformation.

A Residency for Facilitators, by Facilitators

The Liberated Living Residency is more than a place to stay, it is a space for facilitators, leaders, and changemakers to practice co-living, co-creating, and embodying Heart iQ in everyday life.

Unlike a traditional retreat, where facilitators guide and participants receive passively, this is a self-led, emergent experience where every resident is an active contributor.

While there is a loosely held container with a selection of offerings from the core team, the essence of this residency is that we are all facilitators, each person brings their unique gifts, wisdom, and leadership to the space. No one is being directly reimbursed for their contributions; rather, we are all volunteering our time, energy, and presence to co-create something truly extraordinary.

This is what makes the residency radically different from a retreat, it is not a top-down experience, but a true co-creative process, where we honor emergence, self-leadership, and the power of being in the field together. It is an invitation to step into embodied leadership and explore what it means to live and thrive in an intentional, heart-centered community.
