The Big Vision of Heart iQ

Christian sets out the founding vision of Heart iQ: a community practice for remembering interconnectedness, healing separation between people, and working together rather than alone to shift collective consciousness.

This is an early statement of the vision behind Heart iQ: a hope that people can learn to live with more awareness of their connection to one another and to the world around them.

… Where men and women remember who they really are and live as embodied love, an extension of the divine, connected to the earth and inter-dependent with everyone and everything around them.

In this dream, those of us who hear the call to unify, begin to gather in tribes, re-igniting forgotten memories of how it can be, dissolving barriers and the illusions that separate us.

Community as a place to practise

Those who choose to get activated and initiated on the Heart iQ Journey often describe a shift in their nervous system, feeling more able to operate in life with power and self-love, while also sensing a capacity to merge and harmonise with other resonant Hearts in a shared field. We believe that through this effect of emergence, something greater than the sum of its parts can arise from a collective of open hearts, and that this collective has the potential to contribute to positive change in the world.

We believe shared practice can contribute to collective change. Individual actions matter, and the relationships between people affect what those actions can become together.

The hope is that greater awareness of interdependence could influence the choices we make as communities, including how we lead, resolve conflict and care for the environment.

We believe that as collective consciousness shifts, there will be less reason for the kind of conflict and harm that has been inflicted on each other and the planet for millennia.

Technology and imagination

The original vision also looked far ahead, imagining what might become possible if technological development were guided by care for people and the Earth.

We hold true that technology is a sacred resource, and that we can partner with it and the Earth’s bounty to co-create a harmonious environment that is nourishing and sustaining for every living being.

It included speculative hopes about longer lives, space travel and artificial intelligence supporting shared prosperity. These were imagined possibilities, not predictions or scientific claims on which the practice depends.

The aspiration underneath those ideas was for fewer people to live with hunger, poverty or a sense of being disposable.

Returning to everyday contact

Heart iQ begins more immediately with how we meet ourselves and one another. The larger vision gives that practice a context. Its value still has to be lived in ordinary choices, conversations and relationships.

It's a big vision, and even though the odds may be against us, shall we at least not try? Because either way, can you think of a better way to live?
