A 3-day live training in the art of heart intelligent relating, for couples ready to come closer. Build a shared language, move through what keeps you stuck, and remember why you chose each other.
"The work of love is learning to feel each other beneath the words. To meet, and be met, in all of who you are, and to practise being fully yourself in the presence of your beloved."
3 full days of live training • Led by Christian Pankhurst • Netherlands & Colorado • Contribution-based pricing

"We shared things with each other we'd never shared in seventeen years of marriage. We finally felt met."– Andrea
"We came married 25 years, thinking we knew everything about each other. We left knowing we'd barely scratched the surface, and with a way to truly hear each other."– Married 25 years
"As guys, we don't know how to access our emotions. Heart iQ made it safe for me to go there, and it changed everything in my marriage."– Marc, California
Something deeper is calling the two of you. A longing for the closeness you felt at the start, and that can be harder to reach now. For a relationship that feels truly alive again. These three days are an invitation to come back to each other, and to experience what becomes possible when both your hearts lead the way.
The walls, the withdrawing, the arguments that go in circles: those patterns didn't begin with the two of you. Each of you carried them in from your earliest relationships, and now they meet in the middle of this one. Left unattended, they create distance neither of you chose, and a quiet loneliness that can exist even side by side in the same bed. What was wounded in relationship needs relationship to heal, and yours can become the place where that happens.
Heart iQ returns the two of you to something you've always known. Through embodied practice, guided relational work, and the support of a room full of people doing the same brave thing, you'll drop beneath the roles and routines and actually meet each other again. You'll leave with a shared language you can keep speaking at home, long after the three days end.
Your relationship is good, and you sense it could be extraordinary. You want to keep growing toward each other rather than drifting into autopilot, and to build the kind of intimacy that deepens with the years instead of fading.
Life, work, and everything in between have pulled you into parallel lives. The closeness is quieter than it was. You want to find your way back to each other and remember what brought you together in the first place.
You've moved through hard things, perhaps a rupture in trust, and you're both committed to healing it. You want a safe, held space and real tools to rebuild and reconnect, not just talk in circles.
Over three days, you'll be guided through a progressive series of personal, relational and group practices designed to deepen your connection to yourself, others, and life itself.
Gain insight into resistance to joy, the thoughts and judgments keeping you from loving what is alive in you, and the hidden patterns running your relationships.
Expand the bandwidth you have available to stay connected before being triggered into collapse, fight, or flight. Build the nervous system resilience to hold more.
An integrated practice of breath, grounding, and energetically holding space, so you can meet each moment fully present and fully yourself.
Become aware of multiple layers of your experience, including defense mechanisms, shadows, and blind spots, and learn to navigate them with compassion.
Bring awareness into your body. Deepen your connection to movement, breath, sound and touch as gateways to authentic self-expression.
Cleanse your emotional and energetic bodies from the toxic buildup of repressed pain, unexpressed grief, and held tension that blocks your aliveness.
Learn to hold all parts of yourself in love and navigate triggers more effectively, without shutting down or acting out.
Learn to communicate what is real rather than what is right. Drop the masks, the performance, and the people-pleasing, and meet others from your genuine heart.
Navigate disagreements while staying connected to your heart. Avoidance erodes intimacy faster than honest conflict ever will. Learn to stay open when the stakes feel highest.
Rebuild trust and open to deeper intimacy safely. Whether with a partner, a friend, or yourself, intimacy requires a felt sense of safety that you can learn to create.
Feel and work with the energy between you and others. Learn to read the invisible dynamics in any relationship and bring consciousness to what's really happening beneath the words.
Experience the power of doing your inner work held by a whole room. When the group gathers around one person's process, your heart finally gets to be witnessed.
Witness how individual healing ripples through the group. When one person has the courage to go deep, everyone in the circle receives the gift of that opening.
The circle as a living, breathing organism of mutual support. Your presence, your story, and your heart are the medicine that others need, just as theirs is yours.
"I took away that it can be joyful to work on your stuff. Not heavy. Joyful. I'm taking home a clear and constant heart, and tools to make a good relationship great."– Heart iQ Graduate
A short documentary, filmed at a Heart iQ live event, following what opens up between two people when they finally slow down and turn toward each other in a room built for exactly that.
A note on what you're seeing: this film was shot at one of our intimate deep-dive retreats, where each couple takes space in a small circle. Love, Relationships & You is a larger, seminar-style training, so the format is different. What the film shows is the couples work itself: the honesty, the attunement, and the depth two people can reach when the field is held. That is the work you'll be learning and practising together.
Couples share what happened when they brought Heart iQ into their relationship.
"One of the most profound personal development experiences in eighteen years."– Mathias
"It's like running next to your train your whole life and then finally getting on it."– LRY Graduate
"I came for my relationship and left with a completely new relationship to myself."– Heather Rizzo
Love, Relationships & You is Heart iQ's signature training and a groundbreaking journey into personal practice, relational skill, and the transformative power of authentic connection.
Our approach is holistic: a blend of challenging and deeply rejuvenating experiences. It's about diving into the essence of your being, fully inhabiting your body to unearth your truest expression. We go to the depths, seeking the core truths of how you relate to yourself and others.
You'll upgrade your relationship toolkit with robust communication skills and embodied connection practices. You'll nourish and awaken parts of yourself that have been dormant. And you'll experience the power of tribe, the nourishing, supportive feeling of being held by people who can feel you in ways you may not even be able to feel yourself.
Whether you're thriving and want more, feeling the distance, or rebuilding after something hard, this training meets you exactly where you are as a couple. The practices adapt to your unique rhythm together, creating lasting shifts that seamlessly integrate into your relationship and the fabric of your daily life.
"Heart iQ is highly intuitive. It's a language you already know deep down, but to which you have lost access."
Christian is the founder of Heart iQ and the author of Insights to Intimacy. Over the past 20+ years, he has developed a multi-level communication system that integrates words, body language, energy, emotions, and spirit. It is a language of the heart that transforms how humans relate to themselves, each other, and the world.
Through direct observation of thousands of group interactions during his retreats across 30+ countries, Christian began to see the hidden patterns of connection and conflict that show up in every kind of relationship. He translated these dynamics into a practical, embodied language that anyone can learn.
His work has touched 5,000+ lives, and these three days are the distilled essence of everything he teaches: the foundational training for anyone who wants to relate more authentically.
"Christian Pankhurst knows how to articulate these messages as well as, if not better than I can. He is a profound source of wisdom and depth."– Neale Donald Walsch, NY Times Best-Selling Author

Capped at 50 participants at New Eden and 100 at Casa Sagrada. Seminar-style teaching, personal practice, and relational work, held by Christian and a trained facilitation team. No surface-level work.
Please note: All meals are included in your contribution at both locations. Accommodation is separate: at New Eden (Netherlands) you add your room (single, shared, or camping) as part of the same booking, and at Casa Sagrada (Colorado) accommodation is not available at the venue, with hotels and Airbnbs nearby in Loveland.
Both events are facilitated by Christian Pankhurst and offer the same depth of Heart iQ teaching and practice. Choose the location that calls to you.
We price this training on a sliding scale because we would rather have the right people in the room than the right number on a ticket. The floor is €500/$500, and those with more resources are invited to contribute above it. Every contribution above the floor directly funds a lower doorway for someone else.
€500/$500 is the minimum that makes the training sustainable to run, and it includes all your meals for the three days. If the floor is what you can meet, you are as welcome in the room as anyone.
During booking you choose your exact amount, guided by honest prompts about income, obligations, savings, and season of life. Give from capacity, never from strain.
Whatever you choose, you are welcome. We trust your choice and no one will ever question it. This is our way of moving toward a gift-based economy.
You set your contribution as part of booking. Meals are included, and at New Eden you can add your accommodation in the same flow.
We came as a couple married 25 years, thinking we knew everything about each other. We left knowing we'd barely scratched the surface. Heart iQ gave us a way to truly hear each other, not just the words, but what lives underneath them.
I arrived completely closed down. By the end of the first day, something in me had cracked open that no amount of therapy had ever reached. Heart iQ works on a level I didn't even know existed.
As a man, I'd spent my whole life avoiding vulnerability. This retreat showed me that vulnerability isn't weakness. It's the gateway to everything I've been looking for in my relationships.
I came for my relationship and left with a completely new relationship to myself. The tools I learned at this retreat have become my daily practice. They've changed how I parent, how I love, and how I live.
The circle work was extraordinary. To be held so deeply by people I'd only just met restored my faith in humanity. I left knowing that real community is possible.
Heart iQ is the missing piece. Everything I'd learned in books and courses clicked into place when I experienced it in my body, in circle, in real time. This is what transformation actually feels like.
No. Love, Relationships & You is designed for both newcomers and experienced practitioners. Whether this is your first encounter with Heart iQ or you've been on the journey for years, the training meets you exactly where you are. Many people attend this as their entry point into Heart iQ.
Yes. This training is for couples at any stage: thriving and wanting to go deeper, feeling the distance and wanting to reconnect, or rebuilding after something hard. You'll learn a shared language for relating from the heart, and practise it side by side. Heart iQ is a relational training, so the skills strengthen every other relationship in your life too, but here you do the work together, as a couple.
You register once, together: the booking takes both of you in a single flow, and the contribution (from €500/$500) is per person. You'll move through the three days side by side and each have your own experience in the room. Wanting to explore on your own first? The individual version of this retreat is for you.
We want the doorway into this work to be as wide as we can responsibly make it. The minimum contribution for the training is €500/$500 per person, and it includes your full meal package for the three days. Those who have the means are invited to contribute more. Contributions above the minimum directly support keeping the entry point lower for others. Accommodation is the only extra: at New Eden you add your room in the same booking, and in Colorado you arrange your own lodging nearby.
Your meals are included at both locations. For New Eden (Netherlands), you add your accommodation at the venue (single room, shared room, or camping) as part of the same booking. For Casa Sagrada (Colorado), accommodation is not available at the venue. You will need to book a hotel or Airbnb nearby in Loveland. We will send recommendations after registration.
Each day typically runs from morning to evening with breaks for meals and integration. You'll move through a blend of live teaching, personal practice, relational exercises in pairs and small groups, embodiment, and whole-group experiences. The schedule is held with care, intense enough to create real transformation and spacious enough to process and integrate.
Yes! Each training is a complete experience, and attending both would deepen your practice significantly. Each location carries its own energy. If you'd like to attend both, simply register for each one separately.
No. Everything at a Heart iQ event is invitational and consent-based. You choose how far you go, every time. Much of the work happens in personal practice and in pairs, and plenty of participants describe themselves as introverts who were relieved to find they could move at their own pace. Being witnessed is powerful; being pushed is against everything we stand for.
Think seminar-style workshop rather than talking circle. Christian teaches live, then you put it straight into practice: personal practices, relational exercises in pairs and small groups, and experiential sessions with the whole room. This is emotionally deep work, held with clear agreements, a trained facilitation team, and a published ethics & safety framework. It complements therapy well, though it is never a substitute for it.
This is the most common shape a couple arrives in: one of you found the training, the other agreed to come. It works. Nothing is forced, every practice is invitational, and skeptical partners routinely tell us afterwards that the room felt more grounded and practical than they expected. Watch the short film higher up this page to see what it actually looks like. The only real requirement is a willingness to show up.
